These are questions asked by parents during the PYP Parent Workshops.

How are the Teachers at Kennedy School prepared to teach PYP? Do they receive special training?

All teachers attend an IB workshop every 2 years. These are held in school with visiting IB trainers. Teachers may also be sent to regional IB Workshops to aid their professional development. These teachers will then disseminate their learning to the rest of the staff.

How does learning a language fit into PYP?

When will Kennedy be authorised?

Will the essential elements of PYP be reflected in the report on student progress?

Are the daily Maths classes integrated into the Units of Inquiry?
