Teaching our students how to stay safe online
The internet is a powerful tool, and one that we use regularly in our teaching. To ensure that our students stay safe online we have developed an e-safety curriculum that provides advice and guidance on how to become a responsible digital citizen.
In addition, there are also the Internet Use Guidelines, published in every classroom, which set out the expectations we have for students working online. These provide a framework for our developing netizens to understand what is, and is not, acceptable online. By developing this knowledge early in their education, we help to set the guiding principles they will take forward when using the internet independently.
